If you choose to sign up to our services, then you become a member (“customers and tutors”) of Strivie for the duration of your customership with us. This agreement, together with the terms of your registration agreement, will govern your relationship with us and your use of our services during the duration of your customership.
The platform and services will allow only people who are 18 years or older to offer or provide lessons/clinics as a tutor, guide or instructor. For using the services as a customer/student on the platform that are offered by the tutor, guide or instructor the minimum required age is 14 years, with permission of a parent.
By granting Strivie access to any social network accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Google+ or any other), you understand that Strivie will access, make available and store (if applicable) any text, graphics, images, music, software, audio, video, information or other materials that you have provided to and stored within your social network account so that it is available on and through the platform and services via your Strivie account, unless otherwise specified in these Terms. Depending on the social network accounts you choose, and subject to the privacy settings that you have set in such social network accounts, personally identifiable information that you post to your social network accounts will be available on and through your Strivie account on the platform and services. Please note that if a social network account or associated service becomes unavailable on Strivie or access to such social network account is terminated by the third party service provider, then the social network content will no longer be available on and through the Strivie platform and services.
Please note that your relationship with the third party service providers associated with your social network accounts is governed solely by your agreement(s) with such third party service Providers.
As a member, tutor or any other guest of our platform, you must be aware that:
The platform, services, and platform content are protected by the copyright and trademark. You acknowledge and agree that the platform, services and platform content (including all associated intellectual property rights) are the exclusive property of Strivie. You will not remove, alter or obscure any copyright, trademark, service mark or other proprietary rights notices incorporated in or accompanying the platform, services, or platform content.
You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for all the content that you make available through Strivie.com platform and services. The information we disclose via the Strivie platform or any other additional service is based on the information provided by the providers of lesson/clinic towards us. The lesson/clinic providers therefore have access to an dashboard, and they are fully responsible for updating all rates, availability and other information displayed on our platform and its additional services. We take great care and attention to offering our services, but we will not verify the information and can not be held responsible for any errors (including eye-catching and typographical errors), any interruption whatsoever (whether by (temporary and / or partial) breakdown, repair, upgrade, maintenance of our platform or anything else occurs), inaccurate, misleading or untruthful information or lack of information.
The platform is free of charge for registration and use. All Strivie customers understand and agree that they are solely responsible for determining your applicable tax reporting requirements in consultation with your tax advisors.
Becoming a member/tutor/guide/instructor of the platform is free of charges. Once a customer has made a booking, this will be directly paid via credit card. Strivie holds this money until the lesson/clinic has been completed successfully. After successful execution of the lesson or clinic, the instructor will receive payment of the amount of money minus the commission costs.
Currently the platform is in a start-up/testing phase. Therefore the commission fee is set at a reduced rate of 5%. This commission includes transaction, re-marketing, operational and administrative costs. Following the end of the start-up/testing phase the commission will be increased to up to 15%. Users will be clearly notified of such changes and the final commission fee will always be determined in consultation with the user.

We understand that sometimes circumstances arise that force a member to cancel an already booked lesson. The cancellation is to be done at the lesson/clinic provider, who can add these changes in their dashboard. Cancellations can be done free of charges until 48 hours before the execution of the lesson/clinic. Within the 48 hours before the execution of the lesson/clinic, the full amount (100%) will be charged for the cancellation and no money will be refunded towards the customer/student. The instructor can withdraw the amount of money minus the commission costs using the platform dashboard.
No-shows are also fully charged to the customer/student. Strivie is allowed to charge the full amount of costs to your credit card.
You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for all activities in your account. If you are a tutor, guide or instructor at Strivie, and you make yourself available as a tutor, guide or instructor for a particular activity, you are liable to each member that hired you for the lesson.
By accepting this agreement you are aware of the fact that Strivie can not be held liable for any kind of damage, accidents or whatsoever. We or any of our founders, employees, interns or others who are involved by providing this platform and its content will be in the highest permitted level by law not be liable for any compensation in punitive damage, special, indirect or consequential loss or damages, loss of production, loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of contract, loss or damage of goodwill or reputation, loss of any claim for any inaccuracy relating to any (descriptive) information (including rates, availability and qualification) of the lessons/clinics that are available through our platform, for the services or products offered by the lesson/clinic provider or other business partner, for any (direct or indirect, arising or incurred due to damages) damages, losses or expenses which are suffered by you or paid, whether they come from (legitimate) activities, resulting from, arising out of or connected with the use, inability to use or delay of our platform, or any (personal) injury, death, property damage or other (direct, indirect, special, consequential or incurred due to damages), damages, losses, or expenses incurred by you or paid whether this is due to (legal) activities, errors, breaches, (gross) negligence, willful misconduct, omissions, breach of contract, misrepresentation, tort or strict liability by or (wholly or partly) attributable to the lesson/clinic provider or any other business partners, whose services directly or indirectly available are offered or promoted, including any (partial) cancellation, overbooking, strike, force majeure or any other event beyond our control.
